Spend it like a rock star

This weekend Ben came down and we had quite the adventurous and expensive weekend.

Friday we cooked ourselves some dinner, only needing to buy a few small items. Of course, Ben wanted his mustard chicken.

Saturday we wanted to be cheap so we went to res. We had left overs for dinner (not a good idea) and then went to Applebees for 1/2 price appetizers. YUM! We each got boneless wings and a drink. We went with some people from my staff and left Aaron's number for the waitress without his knowledge. Then Christina wanted to go to the bar so we took Andrew since it was his 21st birthday. Ben and I each took out $40. I spent all of mine. Who knows how much he spent. I treated Andrew to 2 beers and 2 shots and let him finish my drinks. After Hibernia closed we went to Shawmut Diner for "breakfast." One breakfast sandwich, one order of fries, one order of toast, and one weekender later, we were done spending for the night.

On Sunday Ben wanted to go to Ricardi's, a cute little Italian place. So cheap. So delicious.

Did we need to spend all that money this weekend? No. Was it a lot of fun doing it? Yes. We know we shouldn't spend like we are millionaires but we also know we won't be able to do things like this once we are married and broke. So why not do it while we can? Sometimes you just can't put a price on spending quality time with friends.
